Glory of the Faithful

This is the glory of all his faithful. Alleluia. (Psalm 149:9)

Sing to the Lord a new song of praise in the assembly of the faithful.

Let Israel be glad in their maker, let the children of Zion rejoice in their king. Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him with timbrel and harp. Let the faithful exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their couches; let the high praises of God be in their throats.

For the Lord loves his people, and he adorns the lowly with victory. --Psalm 149:1-6

The Greatest Glory is to be One with Jesus!

The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken (Isaiah 40:5).

And he said to me, "You are my servant, in whom I will be glorified" (Isaiah 49:3).

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

I live in the Glory of God's Name

Their posterity will continue for ever, and their glory will not be blotted out (Sirach 44:13).

The Lord chiefly desires of us that we should be completely perfect, that we may be wholly one with Him. Let us aim, therefore, at whatever we need to reach this. -- St. Teresa

I give thee thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing thy praise; I bow down toward thy holy temple and give thanks to thy name for thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness; for thou hast exalted above everything thy name and thy word.

Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen (Revelation 7:12)

Eternal God, behold me prostrate before your immense majesty, humbly adoring you. I offer you all my thoughts, words, and actions of this day. I offer them all to be thought, spoken, and done entirely for love of you, for your glory, to fulfill your divine will, to serve you, to praise you, and bless you. I wish and intend to do everything in union with the most pure intentions of Jesus and Mary (St. John Leonardi).
