SEE THE GLORY OF THE LORD

They shall see the Glory of the LORD,

the majesty of our God.

Isaiah 35:2

Glory in God's Church

The angel led me to the gate which faces the east, and there I saw the glory of the God. I fell prone as the glory of the Lord entered the temple by way of the gate which faces the east. And I saw that the temple was filled with the glory of the Lord. Then I heard someone speaking to me from the temple, while the man stood beside me. The voice said to me: Son of man, this is where my throne shall be, this is where I will set the soles of my feet; here I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. -- Ezekiel 43:1-7

Glory to God's People!

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are of a fearful heart, "Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you."Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing for joy. -- Isaiah 35:3-6

The Greatest Glory is to be One with Jesus!

The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken (Isaiah 40:5).

And he said to me, "You are my servant, in whom I will be glorified" (Isaiah 49:3).

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

I live in the Glory of God's Name

Their posterity will continue for ever, and their glory will not be blotted out (Sirach 44:13).

The Lord chiefly desires of us that we should be completely perfect, that we may be wholly one with Him. Let us aim, therefore, at whatever we need to reach this. -- St. Teresa

I give thee thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing thy praise; I bow down toward thy holy temple and give thanks to thy name for thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness; for thou hast exalted above everything thy name and thy word.

On the day I called, thou didst answer me, my strength of soul thou didst increase.

All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, for they have heard the words of thy mouth; and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD (Psalms 138:1-5).

Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen (Revelation 7:12)

Eternal God, behold me prostrate before your immense majesty, humbly adoring you. I offer you all my thoughts, words, and actions of this day. I offer them all to be thought, spoken, and done entirely for love of you, for your glory, to fulfill your divine will, to serve you, to praise you, and bless you. I wish and intend to do everything in union with the most pure intentions of Jesus and Mary (St. John Leonardi).
